Chicago region community scientists have been blazing new trails for over a dozen years

Audubon Chicago Region and the Bird Conservation Network (BCN) work together to share information about the conservation needs of birds to improve habitat throughout our region.

If you know our breeding birds by site and sound, and can spare two mornings in June,  join the BCN Survey of birds in our local preserves.  List of sites that need monitors

Monitors work contributes to local bird conservation in many ways.  Here are examples:
